Our first instalment of the New Beginnings DIY workshops held on the Gold Coast has finished, and we were so thrilled with the fabulous response from everyone! We hope you all enjoyed them as much as we did – getting to spend some quality crafting time with creatives from all walks of life is one of our favourite things.
The series started off with a bang in our Crafty Calendars class. Using Dailylike fabric tapes, stickers and masking tapes, we used blank calendars and created unique designs for each month to keep our walls bright and inspirational all year round.
Next up came the Delicious Diaries class, where we decorated some scrumptious 2014 diaries provided to us by Melbourne based brand Mi Goals. We used some Alex Mae glitter tape and glitter sheets to add some sparkle to the covers, and we gave some demos on little bits and bobs to use inside, keeping you inspired as well as organised!
Last but not least, we jazzed up some Alex Mae notebooks in the Brilliant Books class. Using Dailylike fabric tapes, stickers and masking tapes, we created different effects on the covers, and had some serious gossip sessions while we worked away like busy little bees.
You can follow us on the New Beginnings Workshop tour here on our blog, but why not come and join in the fun when we’re in your city? Follow the links to find out more.
